- Administrative Office Team:
From answering the telephone in the office to helping prepare the next mailing from your own home, volunteers serve in a variety of ways to help with the many tasks in and around the office. Volunteers serve on an as-needed basis or a scheduled basis depending on the individual's availability.

- Camera Team:
If you can operate a personal hand-held video camera at home, you can help out here! This ministry helps those who attend Sunday services feel up close and personal with what is happening on stage, whether you are in the front row or way in the back! Willing helpers are requested to assist on a rotating basis a couple of Sunday mornings a month.

- Celebrate Recovery Ministry Team: The purpose of VHCC's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "12 Recovery Principles." This experience allows us to "be changed." By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. - Children's Ministry Team: (Birth - Kindergarten) Each week we provide a safe and nurturing environment for our Babies and Toddlers so they can experience the love of Jesus. As our little ones grow, we begin to offer an age appropriate curriculum that introduces your child to who God is and how much He loves them. We would love for you to partner with us! - Children's Ministry Team: (1st grade - 6th Grade) Our elementary kids get to experience God's word through creative drama teaching (large Group) which is presented so that kids can connect with life applicable situations and learn how God can help them in their everyday lives. Our kids then move into small groups where our leaders build on what has been presented and give kids opportunities to share and grow. We would love for you to partner with us! - Communion Team: About once a month we celebrate the Lord's Supper at Sunday services. It is a great way of creating a meaningful service for others and involves setting up before the service, serving communion, then clearing.

- Decorating Team: If you love to decorate, you may enjoy helping to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for Sunday services or for special events throughout the year. This creative team is always looking for more volunteers to help on a rotating basis once or twice a month.

- DivorceCare Ministry Team: DivorceCare is a weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. It is a place where you can hear valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce. More info on DivorceCare.

- eMinistry Team: The internet is a fantastic place for both the local community to get know about VHCC and our regular members and attendees to keep connected with one another. The eMinistry Team consists of dedicated volunteers to help maintain and update our website on a weekly basis (like this page). Graphic Designers and those with desktop publishing skills for updating are always welcomed!

- Facilities Setup/Put AwayTeam: Get in the team spirit! Since we do not have our own facility, every Sunday is a real challenge as we transform an empty gym into a place of worship that everyone can enjoy. We also setup our children's classrooms! This incredible team is always looking for more volunteers to help on a rotating basis twice a month, for either set-up in the morning or put-away after church.

- First Impressions/ WelcomeTeam: A smiling face, a warm handshake, and a friendly greeting make people feel welcomed and provide a quick source of information for first-time guests. We are always looking for people who would like to come 15 minutes before a service and help welcome people as they arrive and give them a program.

- Fishes & Loaves Team: During stressful times such as illness, injury, birth, moving or a death of a family member, a nice meal delivered compassionately can make these stressful times a little easier. Volunteers are asked to either prepare or deliver meals occasionally throughout the year.

- Hospital Team: Sometimes people need a hospital visit to cheer them up. If you have a kind, willing heart and a little extra time to help others, the Hospital Visit Team would be happy to have your help! Volunteers are usually called upon several times a year, as needed. More Info.

- Hospitality Team: The hospitality team is perfect for those who enjoy hosting and are available to setup and serve coffee and pastries on Sundays, on a rotating basis once or twice a month.

- Life Together Team: Helping to promote small groups as a means of caring and connecting people for spiritual growth, service and encouragement.

- Men's Ministry: Studying, praying and fellowship are key elements on the Men's Ministry Team. Bible studies, Men's BBQs, and annual retreats are planned throughout the year that keep men supporting one another and working together. In this ministry every man can get in the team spirit in a variety of ways!

- Ministry Placement Team: The right people...in the right places?for the right reasons. Helping new members identify where to be placed into meaningful places of service where they can be fruitful and fulfilled. If you have a desire to help others get connected, this ministry may be a great opportunity for you!

- Mission Team (Local & Global): Helping to connect our church family with our community through service projects and reaching beyond our borders by sharing Christ thru cross-cultural outreach.

- Prayer Team: As prayer requests are shared with the church weekly, a chain of people are notified of the need and begin to pray. People with the gift of intercession or those who like to pray for others in need are a great fit for this team.

- Presentation Team: If you can listen for cues from the Pastor and push a button advancing the slide - running the slide show is a great way to join the media department! Volunteers serve once or twice every eight weeks. Come join in on the behind the scenes excitement!

- Research Team: The Sunday sermon message comes from many different inspirations. From biblical references, national surveys to current events help to produce meaningful messages that are easily understood. Our Research Ministry Team asks for volunteers that love to do occasional research for our pastors.

- Sound Team: Work behind the scenes with our Sound Team. We are always looking for more volunteers to help on a rotating basis a couple of Sunday mornings a month with everything from stage setup to sound board mixing to recording Sunday's message. No background in production is necessary, just a desire to get involved!

- Women's Ministry Team: Learning, praying and fellowship are key elements on the Women''s Ministry Team. Bible studies, special luncheons, and annual retreats are planned throughout the year that keep women helping one another and working together. In this ministry every woman can volunteer in a variety of ways!

- Worship Team: Music is a big part of our worship service. If you have completed the 101 Class and attend Sunday services regularly, you can celebrate each Sunday by devoting your talent as a choir or band member. Auditions are held on a regular basis.

- Youth: We offer a youth bible study for grades 7-12 every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. It is held at the Ice Station in Valenica, across the street from Valencia High School. Are you are interested in helping?
