meet our pastors
PASTOR DENNIS STONEMAN
I was born and raised in Phoenix, Az. Ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I’ve been in church. I responded to the gospel at the age of eight and found Jesus after my dad, a pastor, held me under the water during my baptism for an extended period of time.
After completing a degree in History and Biology at Grand Canyon University with the idea of teaching high school and coaching basketball the Lord graciously invited me to collaborate with HIM in the redemption of the world by focusing on the least, the last, and the lost – which God is pursuing with reckless abandon.
I married the love of my life, Patty, and then trotted off to Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, now Gateway Seminary, earning my Masters of Divinity degree, and began my first pastorate at All Nations Fellowship of Alameda, California. Seven years later moved by divine providence I began serving at my second pastorate First Baptist Church of Burley, Idaho. After 11 years of God doing the impossible through the improbable, God, again moved my wife Patty, daughter Lindsey, and son Kaleb and myself to Valencia Hills Community Church in 2012 where I serve with joyful anticipation of God’s supernatural activity in our community. - Pastor Dennis

PASTOR RANDY GOFF
I’m not much for change. I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California, only 17 miles from VHCC. I retired from the State of California, after 38 years, as a surveyor. I have been married to my wife, Elizabeth, for 33 years and have lived in the same home for the last 32 years.
My brother and I were raised by a single mother and even though we had little money, she always made sure we had everything we needed. In fact, God used our monetary situation to help me find Him. I loved sports and we did not have enough money for me to play in an organized league, so I was directed to a league run by the First Baptist Church of Van Nuys. It was there that I got to play ball and there that I accepted the Lord as my Savior.
I married my wonderful wife at the ripe old age of thirty and we have two amazing daughters, Sierra and Devon. I retired from state service at the age of 62 and decided to become a Missions Pastor a year later. I have, with my wife and two daughters, been in the missions field for the the past 17 years locally in Santa Clarita as well as internationally in Mexico, Guatemala, and Haiti.
My wife and I have been at VHCC for over 8 years now and I have been given the honor of serving the Lord through VHCC’s Missions Ministry. - Pastor Randy
